Looking back on January

Our January has looked something like this:

Immunizations and Guitar Lessons

As part of Jaden's two year immunizations, he had to go get a lead test. He was NOT happy with the nurses, until they gave him a Lightning McQueen bandaid. Then everything was fine and he showed off his arm all day long.
Daddy and Jaden had an impromptu jam session one night...

...followed by a lesson on daddy's guitar.

Family Twister Night

Daddy pulled out the Twister game one night. Jaden loved putting his hands and feet on the right colors. He loves spinning the wheel even more.

The best way to make Daddy lose...give him a big hug!

A 65 Degree Weather Day

Our crazy weather was in the 60s one day! We went outside to play and had to take a few minutes just to adjust our eyes!

Playing with our shadows...

...and trying out Jaden's new tricycle outside for the first time!

Lunch with Friends

Snow Day

We went from 60+ degrees to snow and back to the 50s again in January. It's been nuts! When we woke up to snow one morning, Mommy HAD to get Jaden out in it.

We were laughing because all the schools in the area were cancelled when we could still see the grass poking through the top of the snow. Oh well, I guess they have their reasons.

Jaden wasn't too sure about the cold and intense wind, but Mom had fun!

Look at those rosy cheeks! So happy to be inside!

Shooting Day
We met up with some ward members and their teenage sons one Saturday morning to go shooting.  Steve was so excited because he hasn't been shooting out here yet. We had a great time, but sadly this was the only picture I got...?
