Remember how we had three family weddings last year? I'm still tired :)
This year we weren't planning on any, but then one of Steve's best friends--Stuart--decided to tie the knot with the coolest girl we could have ever hoped he'd find. Chelsea is an artist and an animator for Disney. Their entire relationship, and life, is pretty much a Disney fairytale.
Steve had always said that if he needed to make it to anyone's wedding, it had to be Stu's. He was just going to head out for the weekend on his own, but then a couple of girls from our ward were going to EFY in Provo the next week and needed a place to stay. We decided to just make it a family trip and Jaden and I would stay the next week with family, sing with Simple Grace, and help Lexie and Alicia with EFY.
Utah really is the best in the summer and I'm glad we got to go enjoy it, even if it was a whirlwind of a weekend for Steve. But hey, that's just how we roll, I guess. We blow in and out of everywhere before we ever realize what we're doing :).
All the wedding pictures are by elisealexandriaphotography.com, our good friend Elise who we cruised with earlier this year! It was so great to see her, and other good high school/college friends again! Jordan was in Afghanistan and Alex and Melinda were in the Nauvoo pageant for the summer, but Stu had friends come from Delaware, California, and Arizona for his big day. I hope he felt loved, because he sure is :).

And a photo dump of our other Utah fun!

He is SO scared of this elephant, so getting him to sit on it was a BIG deal.

Family history the old school way :)
MOUNTAINS!!!
We tried to kill Lexie and Alicia on the intense hike we took them on, but they were troopers! Delaware is just a little bit more flat than Utah :) but they were great first timers :)
We made it to not one, not two, but three temples in one day! Why? Because Timp was too busy to fit us in, Salt Lake was closed, and we finally made it to Draper :)
We're old and don't know how to selfie.
