surprise...part two

remember this?

yeah it was a long time ago. and i'm just now putting the pictures on the computer.

so here's a follow up on my surprise!

all steve would tell me was that we were going to go through the canyon to see the leaves because they were almost out of the peak season.

well, turns out his family has a cabin up the canyon.
and steve packed everything for an overnighter.


but he did it "audrey style."

like we had ham and pineapple pizza.


and we grilled a pineapple.

mmm, that's a lot of pineapple.

and he let me win at yahtzee.
(i lost five rounds in a row and then got three yahtzees in one game.)

AND he bought me not one, but TWO jackets from aeropostale.
cuz (1) they were on sale and (2) he knew i'd get cold.


and then the next morning we got up early and went on a GORGEOUS three mile hike to a lake. it was the perfect way to appreciate fall's beauty and miracles.


and it was cheaper than dinner and a movie. :)


my husband is the best.
and i love him a LOT.
