*jake and felecia*

This summer was truly the summer of weddings! 

I never blogged about it, but Steve's brother Jake got engaged this past spring and planned his wedding for August 23rd. So Jaden and I changed our plane tickets for Peter's wedding and Steve reworked some business trips so we could participate in Jake's wedding as well. 

We were SO glad everything worked out!

Felecia was actually friends with Steve and Jake a few years ago in Provo, so when she and Jake "re-met," things just clicked! She has a two year old boy, Braxton, from a previous marriage, and we all just fell in love with both of them right away! Jaden is so happy to have a cousin! 

The reception was the evening of the 22nd and the wedding and luncheon were the next morning. We loved seeing lots of our Howell family. A temple marriage is always the best reason to get family together :). We are so grateful for Jake and Felecia's decision to get married in the temple. It was a beautiful weekend!

We spent NINE hours dipping these oreos. It was a fun one-time experience :)

Sure love all these kids :)

This was so sweet. Jake and Felecia each have a sibling on a mission, and Felecia's dad passed away several years ago.
So the sign says:
 "We would like to remember our loved ones serving missions
Near and Far
We know you would be here today if you could"
